SynSense to contribute to Europe-Wide industry EdgeAI consortium
Zürich, Switzerland, Feb.14, 2023 – SynSense announced EU and Swiss support for opening their ultra-low-power sensory processing technology to new edge applications in the European market.
The European Commission announced they will support an industry consortium spanning 10 countries to develop new applications in low-power Edge AI, to a total of more than EUR 10M. The EdgeAI consortium will provide tools, skills, and technologies to strengthen edge AI design and development capabilities across Europe.
“This project will give SynSense the space to explore applying our technology to new sensors and new use cases,” said Dylan Muir, Vice President for Global Research Operations at SynSense. “We are looking forward to working closely with partners in Austria and Switzerland, as well as engaging with the wider consortium across Europe.”
SynSense will be funded by Innosuisse and SERI for 3 years.
